Series 720 are snap-in connectors a larger version of the Series 620 sub-miniature connectors. Maximum OD of the plugs is 16 mm. The connectors offer high performance at a competitive price. Cable connectors can be installed on cables with an overall diameter from 2.5mm to 8mm. Red, blue and green plastic color-coded shells allow easy identification and prevent accidental mismating. When mated correctly, connectors are rated IP 67, but are not shielded. Gold-plated contacts are 3 to 12 per connector, and are rated from 7A to 2A, depending on the contact count. An internal strain relief provides added support for the attached cable. Overmolded assemblies are available, including custom overmolded cordsets with a minimum order quantity.
